Hudson Rocking Chair

Chair great - but assembly wasn't. The delivery was quick. However, the packaging was second-rate. The chair came dusty with the styrofoam stuck to the chair.

The engineering isn't good - so matching the assembly holes can be difficult, depending on how you order the steps.

I spent about an hour on what I thought would be a 20 minute job. Better to have a helper since the chair is slightly heavy and unwieldy

These chairs, although very nice looking, are junk.
The holes are misaligned...the wood splits...the most frustrating assembly (attempted assembly) experience of my life. The only saving grace was exemplary customer service from hay needle. In summary...avoid these chairs, But deal with this company.

The best thing I can say about this rocker is that the delivery was quick and on time. However, one of the slats was broken, screws that were supposed to be secured to the slat were pulled apart. The packing material stuck to the wood and required an abrasive to get off. The finish varies from shiny to flat.It will have to be painted sooner rather than later. I had to drill deeper holes to put the rockers on. The only reason we didn't return it was because it was completely assembled on our roof top deck of our vacation home and it wasn't worth the time to take it apart and repack it and then leave it for pickup.

SIT OUTSIDE AND ROCK AND RELAX (FALL A SLEEP ONCE IN A WHILE)

These look great on the flagstone patio surrounding a firepit. We chose them for the more modern design and they fit in great with the rest of our furnishings. They took some time to assemble but it was not an overly complex process.
