Not quite what I was expecting, though. I was hoping it would be a little more substantial, ie wider, thicker slats. They are only about 1x2. Still, it's OK.

I ordered two of these chairs, the order process was simple and they arrived on the expected date. I was excited when I opened the first box because the cedar stain I had chosen looked great and I could hardly wait to assemble. However, as soon as I took the first sectin out, I discovered that one of the pieces was broken. I called Hayneedle customer service to discuss the return process and they were very understanding. They suggested that I open and inspect the second box to make sure it was okay and, as soon as I opened it, I discovered that the second chair was broken in exactly the same place. (The chairs were both shipped without any packing material inside to cushion the chair parts.) I was emailed immediately FedEx return labels to use and am willing to give them another chance because I like the chair so much. I did assemble one to see how it looked and check the comfort and was very pleased.
