Pine Adirondack Gift Set

The Pine Adirondack Chair may look like similar models you've seen in your local stores, but it's so much better. Constructed of high-quality, #1 grade Southern Yellow Pine, this chair is protected by environmentally- and family-friendly pressure-treated preservatives that give it a lifetime of weather resistance. All nuts, bolts and screws have a hot-dipped galvanized coating, and all nails are stainless steel for additional protection against the elements. A curved, comfort back and a contoured seat make it extra relaxing.

If you'd like to prolong the life of your chair, we recommend staining with a transparent stain or similar protectant. Due to the pressure treatment process this wood has undergone, painting this chair with solid color paint is not recommended. If left untreated, this chair will weather to a beautiful silvery patina grey over time.

These chairs are well-made and very comfortable. My husband also found the limited assembly required to be very easy. I also purchased the cushion (Item# WO011) that is specifically designed for this chair, as well as the footrest, (Item: WO002), and together they are more comfortable that I ever imagined an Adirondack chair could be! I do not know how well the pressure-treated pine will weather, but we are planning on finishing our chairs and footrests with stain and marine varnish.

Heavy duty chairs. Fairly easy to assemble, but the pre-drilled holes for the screws were way out of line, which made things a little difficult. Otherwise the chairs are exactly what I was looking for and they look great and are very comfortable.
