I was in the market for an affordable rocking chair. Naturally I went onto Rockingchairs.com and found this product. It seemed to be exactly what I was looking for: nice looking, "easy" to assemble, inexpensive. [...]But the assembly was a PAIN!!!! I did not know that I would need a drill, sandpaper, wood glue, a rubber mallet, and other tools that I simply did not have. Luckily my boyfriend's friend DID have these tools, so we were able to put the chairs together...but it took FOREVER. And it was extremely messy. there is a ton of sanding required, and one of the chairs has already broken. I am sure if you are willing to put hours upon hours of time and work into assembling these chairs, they can be great, but for us they are a waste of money. Now I need to go spend even more money for chairs that actually stay together. The description of the assembly of these things is totally inaccurate and should really be clarified.

        Horrible quality rocking chair. The description of the rocking chair was false. It says it is high quality and it is long lasting for a nursery. After recieving the rocking chair and having a hard time to assemble it the rocking chair began to fall apart one of the dowels fell and we could not fix it. After the first part fell off the rocking chair then began to just completely fall apart. After calling the company to see what they could do for us they were completly nasty and would not help us at all. She would not even give us a replacement rocking chair or take anything off of a new rocking chair. She claimed she was a mananger and that I could not speak to anyone else and thats all she could do for us. The customer service was horrible and I definitely was not happy with anything. I am now left with a rocking chair that is not repairable and I can not even use it. I lost [$] on a terrible rocking chair while the horrible, nasty company made profit! I will be sure to never order from this comoany ever again and I will definitely tell everyone I know to never order from this company. I hope some of you read this review and do not order from them because you will only be dissapointed in the end with the quality of the rocking chair and the horrible quality of the customer service even from a so called manager.

        We just received these rockers from our nephew for Christmas. My husband and son are in the process of assembling the first one. I hear complaints of "cheap @** screws". And not enough glue. I can only hope they will put the other one together. It's a beautiful rocker.

          A big front porch, out in the country and rockers are perfect. The wicker that had been out there for 10+ years was well worn and we were ready for a change. Pretty and comfy rockers are waiting for Saturday morning coffee, afternoon ice tea, and family visits.
