About Fir Wood
Fir has characteristics very similar to Cedar. Well known for its combination of stability and light weight, it is commonly used in furniture, both here and abroad.     We bought 2 sets and the 2 tables and they are fabulous for our patio!! I had been looking for quite some time for adirondack chairs and not only was this exactly what I wanted for our patio, but the price point was excellent! They assembled easily and I stained them a cedar color and they are absolutely gorgeous!! They look so nice that now I have decided I need to stain our fence that we put in a few months ago! Great company, very quick to ship and great product which is what my husband and I look for when purchasing things for our home.

    I received the chairs and table on time without shipping damages. The chairs were very easy to assemble (about 15 mins each). No parts were missing.
    I plan on staining and sealing the chairs and table, as I live in South Texas and feel they will need to have better weather-proofing for our harsh climate conditions. Before buying, I read the reviews and had previously decided I would be staining/sealing.
    The table in the picture, is not the same table I received. The table I received is about the same size and no assembly is required....you can fold it open or closed. I did not mind that it was not the same table because it was free.
    Good quality for a great price. I'm thinking about ordering another set for the other side of the patio.

            You can look all over the internet or at your local home store for adirondack chairs, but will never come across great quality for a great price. I absolutely love them and plan on placing them on my front porch. I would say installation was quick and pretty easy, it does seem that the predrilled hole placement of the back support posts, arms and chair back aren't exactly right, but a little maneuvering and voila, perfect chairs. Well worth the price!!
