This is a heavy, well-made chair. It was very easy to assemble (15 minutes) and is very comfortable. I let mine weather for a week to dry out, and then painted it with a nice exterior latex. It looks fabulous on the dock, and I expect it to last for many years. I'd definitely buy it if you're looking for a solid, long-lasting outdoor chair.

Love this chairs! They have a beautiful warm reddish brown color. I also bought the side table and they just beautiful on my front porch. I think I will seal them and try to preserve the color since my porch is not completely covered. As a mid range shopper, I did not want to buy cheap chairs but I also did not want to spend an arm and a leg. Great chairs for the price!

I just received these chairs. They were substantial chairs. Constructed better than I expected. I was able to purchase them on sale. Great price. The only thing that I did not like - the chairs may have sat in the warehouse for a while, they seemed dry when I received them and so I needed to put a little teak oil on them. But overall they are hefty and great looking chairs. Treating them with teak oil yearly will keep them looking great. They matched my other redwood type chairs beautifully. Great product!
